Wider or longer? We are happy to help with custom sizes
 
At Georg Jensen Damask, we have our own sewing workshop where we sew textiles in custom sizes. If you need a longer tablecloth, we’re more than happy to thread our needles.
 
You can expect up to two weeks of delivery time for special orders.
 
Not all tables are the same and have standard sizes. If our collection does not contain the measurements you require, we can offer custom sewing to meet your individual needs. For all custom orders, you pay for the fabric and a fixed price for the seamstress' time.

Custom length tablecloths
If you have a table with a length that does not match a tablecloth in our standard collection, we have almost all of our designs on rolls, so we can sew the tablecloth in exactly the length you want.
 
Extending the width of a tablecloth
If you need a tablecloth that is wider than 160 cm, we can extend the width of the tablecloth. This is done by cutting two lengths of damask fabric and discreetly sewing them together down the middle. You pay for the fabric and a fixed price for the seamstress’ time. Please note that we always have at least one design in the collection sold by the metre in widths of up to 210 cm. Please note that there are designs in the collection for which it is not possible to extend the width. Please contact us for more information.
 
Oval tablecloths 
We can also sew tablecloths that fit certain types of oval tables. For widths of over 160 cm, we also have the option of extending the width of the tablecloth. We cut two lengths of damask fabric and discreetly sew them together down the middle.
 
Round tablecloths 
We can also sew tablecloths that fit certain types of round tables. The maximum width in our standard collection is 160 cm, but widths can be extended by discreetly sewing two lengths of damask fabric together down the middle.

When Christian IV invited guests to dinner at Rosenborg Castle in the 1620s, the table was set with a special table cloth that would be the focal point of the meal and the festivities. Exclusively and in collaboration with the Royal Collection, Georg Jensen Damask has been allowed to work with the cultural-historical pattern on the tablecloth, and the result is a modern interpretation with a respectful nod to the original. To complement the elegant damask-woven tablecloth in Pale Yellow and Soft Rose, the Banquet range includes cloth napkins with fine embroidery of fish, lemon, lobster and hazelnut, and damask-woven tea towels with Renaissance motifs in four colours.

A modern interpretation of Christian IV's tablecloth

100% linen napkin with embroidered lobster and lemon motif. The napkins are part of the Georg Jensen Damask Banquet series, which was designed with inspiration from Christian IV's magnificent tablecloth. Soft Rose is a delicate shade of pink.

The Banquet linen napkin has a fine embroidered motif of lobster and lemon. The motifs depict elements of a Renaissance feast, and feature on each individual napkin in the set. This set is in the Pale Yellow shade.

The Banquet napkin is woven from 100% linen and features a fine embroidered motif. The lobster and lemon motifs were inspired by the Renaissance feast and are featured on separate napkins in a set.

The napkins are available in two colours and feature an attached loop so you can hang the napkin on the corner of the chair back. Pale Yellow is a light and delicate shade of yellow.
