Design by Georg Jensen Damask
The striped Abild tea towel is a well-known design in the Georg Jensen Damask collection. Designed in 1991 by Bent Georg Jensen, the tea towel is woven in a thick linen and cotton blend for optimal drying properties. Bright Blue is a beautiful vivid shade of blue.
Over time, Abild has become an icon in our collection of kitchen textiles. The design was created by weaver and textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen, who has interpreted the classic stripe. For many years he was the driving force behind Georg Jensen Damask's design development. We recommend that you soak new tea towels in cold water for at least 24 hours before washing them for the first time. It also makes the fibres straighten out and ensures a high drying performance from the start.
